Prior to forming Toppins Marketing / Communications, Gina was responsible for implementing a sophisticated and highly effective communications program for The Pittsburgh Foundation that resulted in an annual increase of over $7.5 million in assets. When she was the Manager of Aviation Community Relations for The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, she created and managed an external relations program involving elected representatives, the media, passengers, and community and civic organizations. Her development and management of innovative programs for residents and passengers at Newark International, La Guardia, and JFK International Airports focused on airport security, economic development, passenger assistance, tourism, and employment programs.
Gina holds a master's degree from Columbia University and a bachelor of arts degree (cum laude)
from Long Island University, and is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators. She has received several awards - Global Diversity Group Tour for Success award recognizing business leadership in the New England region and YMCA of Greater New York's Black Achievers in Industry award. Her volunteer activities have focused on fundraising and child related programs.
